Join us for A Royale NYE Celebration, guaranteed to start 2023 with tons of fun, a delicious menu and live entertainment only at The Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort! Don’t Stop will dance you into the new year in some style with champagne & a signature open bar to celebrate Gatsby style.
Doors open at 7pm.

This free tradition welcomes locals and visitors to 2023 during the early evening of New Year’s Day. The Mayor’s New Year’s Day Concert, held at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, features performances by local musicians and provides an opportunity to meet Ocean City’s mayor and other elected officials. 

Royale Festival of Lights at Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort

Open to the public, walk around our tropical atrium and enjoy the seasonal lights, Christmas tree and displays. Winterfest of Lights

New Year’s Day is the last day to enjoy this massive light display in Northside Park. This Ocean City holiday favorite features intricate still and animated displays filled with thousands of lights, a 50-foot Christmas tree, hot chocolate, and other activities. While many locals take advantage of this event long before New Year’s, its last few days provide a Christmas bonus to visitors in town for New Year’s Eve. 

Atlantic General Hospital’s Annual Penguin Swim

If you are looking for something unique to do on New Year’s Day but prefer to stay nearby after an exciting New Year’s Eve, Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort’s own Penguin Swim may be a great fit. Ocean City’s beaches may not be as popular in the middle of the winter as they are the rest of the year, but our version of a polar plunge gives daring visitors a chance to swim in the cold Atlantic Ocean. Once you’re ready to warm up, head to our atrium to finish the afternoon with various games and activities. Like our NYE party, money raised from this event is donated to Atlantic General Hospital.
