The Princess Royale was absolutely incredible for both our guest room block and our wedding reception. The setup was stunning, and the layout of the restaurant created the perfect transition and flow from our beachfront ceremony into the reception. The bar area is beautiful, and Sam was hands-down the BEST bartender! Melania, our event coordinator/catering manager was phenomenal throughout the entire process — extremely professional, accommodating, responsive, and genuinely kind. She truly did everything she could to bring our vision to life. All of the staff are extremely attentive and personable and will do their best to get you what you need! The food was also TOP NOTCH. Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was! Our menu included crab cakes, flank steak, bacon brussels & Au gratin potatoes. We had such an amazing experience and would absolutely recommend staying at the Princess or hosting any event there! Can’t wait to plan our first anniversary trip!🤍🌊💍

Rooms We have stayed here several times now, in both the partial ocean view and ocean front rooms. The ocean front view is stunning! However, I do feel as if the partial ocean view rooms have more accommodating features. Such as more vanity space in the bathroom. However, both rooms come with a full size refrigerator/freezer, a mini stove top, a dishwasher and a microwave as well as plates and silverware! Rooms are also extremely clean!

So many things to do in OC. Some of our favorites are actually right across the street! Favorite pizza—Lombardi’s Favorite pub style bar— Kirby’s (they have the BEST steamed shrimp!)

This hotel saved our family vacation. We had booked at another hotel in town and when we got there we found out the pool was closed for renovations. We were able to cancel and book a last minute reservation at Princess Royale. Everyone was so nice including Paula from the front desk and Anna at the coffee shop. Warm customer service, clean rooms, great indoor pool, live music and amazing view. I would come back again.
