    The hotel and the rooms are all beautiful. We had over 200 people in our group and everyone has been raving about how nice everything was. We are all very pleased with the hotel and the staff. We will definitely be back. Martha Strickland is absolutely perfect! She was very intuitive to all of our needs and had everything ready when our group got there. Chris, Derek and Denny took absolutely great care of us. I never heard “Tom we can’t do that” They were there the entire time and made sure we had what we needed and even brought me things I didn’t know I needed yet! I have rented hotels for our big group and we have never had the service and dedication as your staff has shown. I will never go anywhere but the Princess Royale Hotel!

  • "Quite Impressed"

    I was there for the 23rd Episcopal Diocese of DE. Convention. I was quite impressed when I open the door to my room. The overall size and all the convenience. (full size fridge with ice maker, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove). Best part sliding glass door opened into the atrium where the pool and hot tub was. Waking up and watching the sunrise on the beach was fabulous. My overall stay was an awesome Serenity field stay. I would recommend this place for a quick getaway or a long-term stay. Overall the staff the facility the food everything was awesome.”

    Derek and Daniel as always went above and beyond. Things ran very smoothly. We had no issues. They anticipated all of our needs. Vendors and attendees commented on how well the conference ran.
    They treat us like we are the only event..when we know there are other events in the hotel and other events that they are preparing for. Martha also ensured that the group was set up appropriately for rooms. She personally reached out to me when something did not look just right to her…and she made it right. 🙂 These three are the reasons we keep coming back.

    Every year, the Princess Royale exceeds my expectations. This year they did even more than I have come to expect. Martha runs an incredibly well-oiled ship and Chris went above and beyond which really made our event the success it was. Somehow he and Derek actually anticipated what we needed before we even had the chance to communicate with them. That is incredible teamwork! The same can be said for Derek’s team. His leadership is remarkable. And a very special thank you to Martesha who always makes all of our attendees feel like they are in their home away from home. That is not an easy task for those who travel frequently and it is something I have come to appreciate. She is one of the most pleasant people I have the privilege of dealing with. Likewise, the housekeeping staff is friendly and attentive and I can’t imagine giving anyone else our business for our most important annual event. Thank you, Princess Royale!     I was happy, indeed I think we were all, as a staff, very happy with Princess Royale. The hotel is a resort destination so one gets a somewhat noisy crowd, one just understands that, so it’s acceptable. But the rooms are very generous size and it has all the facilities one would want – that’s from a recreational point of view. In terms of meetings , the rooms are well appointed, and the staff are attentive to one’s needs at all times but esp during meals. The food was excellent, and that’s not a word I use lightly – we would have been happy with “okay” for buffet service in a big hotel, but it was excellent, and the staff paid attention to particular, personal needs (e.g. providing soya milk when I asked). They supplied everything as per our requests. I would take my staff back there as soon as I could arrange finances.”

    Alexandra was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was always pleasant to talk to and answered all my questions timely. She made me feel like I was her only customer for the summer holiday. Chris, banquet mgr, was wonderful also. Once again very pleasant and accommodating. Made sure all my needs were met, even removing the dance floor at the last minute.     Everything was fantastic. I did not go to Schooners, order room service, or go to the lounge, so I could not rate those areas. All of the staff were extremely courteous all of the time, even if we were only passing in the hallway, which promotes a very friendly and helping atmosphere. Been coming to OC since I was a child and have stayed all over, but in your resort I have attended numerous meetings for the Marine Corps League and have also attended with the United States Power Squadrons. So in the last 17 years I have stayed with you probably close to a dozen times.

    This was a great experience! I have planned many events and I have to say that the staff members at Princess Royale made this exceptional. I have had nothing but great feedback from attendees. Starting with Martha and Chris and the coordination of the event in the preliminary stages. Very professional, prompt to reply, easy to accommodate our needs and understanding of our timelines. Responsiveness was exceptional. On site, Chris and Martha continued to give top notch customer service to myself and my team. Chris was available via person/phone at any hour. All managers on duty when Chris was not on call were wonderful and well informed as well. We at one point lost a box for an exhibitor and one of the staff members himself took initiative to help us look for the box and also reach out to Chris. This type of service is what really stands out to attendees. Derrick is amazing! The quality of his work is exceptional and the pace he works in is phenomenal. He had thought of details we had not, when we had to change arrangements he was a positive voice and got whatever needed done. He was also available beyond the hours that were expected. You can clearly tell he has a great relationship with his staff and they respect him. Overall, this conference was one of the smoothest events I have coordinated and executed. I attribute this to the staff at Princess Royale! You all are an amazing and wonderful team. I will be recommending this to others! You all have some great friends at PCACAC and also at the University of Maryland! 🙂 Thank you a million for the wonderful memories!

  • "Wonderful Experience"

    The entire staff from the GM down to the housekeeping staff were just great. We utilize the Princess every year for our spring conference and change of watch and have continued to have a wonderful experience. Ray and his staff of bellmen are always ready and happy to work with us especially since we have lots of “stuff” to bring in and take out. They are always smiling and helpful. The housekeeping staff is always very polite and are willing to “work around” everything we have in our rooms with no complaining. The front desk staff are always very pleasant and eager to help. Chris and his entire banquet/food,beverage service staff were right there if we needed anything. Chris has proven over the years that he knows what he is doing and is visable to those who should know of his presence in case of any problems. Overall, I couldn’t say enough good about everything. I continue to strongly suggest to our group that we continue using the Princess for our meeting. All I can say is THANK YOU everyone for your hospitality and kudos to each and every employee. I am more than happy to talk with anyone you may want to refer to me as far as a positive reference for any future groups who may want to consider the Princess for their event.

  • "Extremely Accommodating"

    We stayed a long weekend for a conference. The rooms are great because they are suites so you can fit a few more folks in there if you need. Everything was clean and nice. Facility has a pool which is nice if you have the kids come along. Working with the staff as conference planner was great and they were extremely accommodating. Unlike some conferences the food was great and they made efforts to meet the needs of gluten/vegetarian etc.

    When the storm, Jonah, struck, we were very impressed with the ease your staff made adjustments. While I’m certain there was some behind the scenes anxiety, we noted nothing out of the ordinary. Everything proceeded as expected. I would be remiss if I failed to mention how much we appreciated the reduced rate when we decided, that for our safety when traveling, we would stay an extra night. In an atmosphere where the bottom line matters, we were very impressed with your demonstration that our safety mattered.     We recently attended a convention at the Princess Royale Resort in Ocean City. This convention was attended by approximately 500 people. The Princess Royale staff was excellent and made our first experience there a very pleasant one. The set up for our Ball night was very nice – It was easy to move around and not be uncomfortable with so many people. The food was also very good. Our food was hot and tasty considering they were serving 500 people at one time,.We will be sure to reserve a stay at the Princess Royale in the very near future.

    We had our Training held there from 11/16 through 11/19 and the stay was fantastic. Anything that needed attention the staff was on it. My TV was set on a timer and when I asked the front desk to fix it, she was on the phone in a second getting someone there to fix it. They cater to your every need. Since it was off season I had room service and the food was out of this world. I have never gotten anything that didn’t taste great and they give you a lot of it. I would recommend this hotel to any business for meetings or conventions or just for family pleasure. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Thank you for another wonderful stay and thank you for having such an excellent staff.

    Each year, our social organization visits the Princess Royale for an annual event, and each year the Princess Royale staff and facilities are excellent. The service from all staff is superb and courteous.     Martha, Derek and Chris could not have been any more accommodating. The food quality as well as quantity was superb. The conference space was set up to expectations to accommodate several different groups. Meals were served warm and on time.
